  3. My heart is broken after learning of the loss of such an incredible person. My sister was a good friend of Harry’s in high school and after. He went above and beyond as a police officer and friend to help her during some very hard times and was there for my mom and our family when she died. God bless you and your family during this difficult time with the peace in knowing you will all be together again. Harry will be there with arms wide open and his beautiful smile to greet you. Rest in peace dear Harry.

  5. Harry was one of the people you could count on to do things correctly …when we first got the Police Explorer Program going at Westland P.D. he was a good choice for taking out ride-alongs, he could be trusted. Back in the days before the Dept. got a permanent-Civilian Dispatching staff, Harry would often Dispatch and he not only enjoyed it, but was quite skilled at it as well. I played with Harry on the Dept. softball team and the Westland Police (Dare) Hockey team. Harry was also a good Dare Officer and F.T.O. I will miss Harry as will many others….I will remember him most as being one of the “Hockey Guys “.
