Obituary

On October 12, 2021, while surrounded by her husband and children, Maria (Lupita) Perez, age 67, went home to be with our Lord. Maria was born in Hermosillo, Mexico to Ernestina and Jose Reyes in 1954. She married her husband of 42 years, Seferino Perez Jr, on March 10, 1979 in Avondale, AZ. Maria is survived by her husband, Seferino, her children, Joshua (Adriana), Elizabeth (Junior), Tabitha, and 15 grandchildren. Maria truly exemplified the love and goodness of Christ throughout her Christian walk. She was dedicated to her family as wife, mother, and guela. She faithfully and joyfully served in her church as leader of the women’s ministry and in other capacities. Maria was a godly woman and will leave a legacy of God’s amazing love and grace to her family and friends. We will love and cherish her as we wait for the day we will be reunited in heaven.

El 12 de octubre de 2021, mientras estaba rodeada de su esposo e hijos, María (Lupita) Pérez, de 67 años, se fue a casa para estar con nuestro Señor. María nació en Hermosillo, México hija de Ernestina y José Reyes en 1954. Se casó con su esposo de 42 años, Seferino Pérez Jr, el 10 de marzo de 1979 en Avondale, AZ. A María le sobreviven su esposo, Seferino, sus hijos, Joshua (Adriana), Elizabeth (Junior), Tabitha, y 15 nietos. María verdaderamente ejemplificó el amor y la bondad de Cristo a lo largo de su caminar cristiano. Se dedicó a su familia como esposa, madre y guela. Ella sirvió fiel y alegremente en su iglesia como líder del ministerio de mujeres y en otras capacidades. María era una mujer piadosa y dejará un legado digno de imitar no solo para sus hijos pero tambien para todos los que la conocieron. La amaremos y apreciaremos mientras esperamos el día en que nos reuniremos en el cielo.
