Obituary

Raymond M. Fischer, age 73, of Goodyear, Arizona passed away on February 7, 2021 in Goodyear, Arizona. He was born on February 14, 1948 to Ernest G. and Mildred V. Fischer of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Raymond served in the army and was a retired veteran. He was a member of St. John Vianney Church in Avondale, Arizona and was a fourth-degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Raymond was a district claims manager for Ford Motor Company for thirty plus years. He enjoyed fishing, sports, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. “Pop-Pop’s” keen sense of humor and endless jokes will be missed by all.

Raymond is survived by his loving wife of fifty-one years, Teresa Fischer; his daughters, Kathleen (Kurt) Morkunas, Stephanie (Rodney Armstrong) Fischer, Carolyn (Paul) DeRobertis, Victoria (Joshua) Lapin, and his five grandchildren; Alexis Woltman, Karly Morkunas, Kaden Morkunas, Jace Lapin, and Nathan DeRobertis; and his fur baby Daisy. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Donnamarie (Stephen) Wilson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Ray’s name.
