Obituary

Joe A. Fry, age 68, of Avondale, Arizona passed away on May 25, 2020 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born August 17, 1951 to Donald Fry and Mary Wingate in Crawfordsville, Indiana.

Joe served in the U.S. Navy from June 30, 1969 to March 2, 1973 as an E-4/ 825- Electricians. He Enjoyed carpentry, gardening, camping and fishing. Joe also obtained his electronics technology degree from Durham Business College. He was a superior mentor and life counselor for his children. Joe was a good and honest man as well as a beloved husband. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whom was loved by all friends and family. He will truly be missed.

Joe is survived by his wife; Marcia L. Fry, his daughters; Jessica Kirkpatrick, Tamara Gibson, and Jessa Hargis, his son; Ian Fry, his sister; Margaret Forsyth, and his brothers; Bill Fry, Jack Fry, and Jim Fry, as well as his 11 grandchildren, and his 6 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; Donald Fry and Mary Wingate, and his brother; Frank Fry.
