Obituary

On December 2, 1933 Charles Harold Rossenbach was born to Harold Merlyn and Mildred Alice Rossenbach at St. Joseph Hospital in Phoenix, AZ.  Chuck was always proud to tell everyone that he was a native born Arizonian. Chuck also had an older sister, named Barbara Yvonne who died at the age of 10.

Chuck graduated from Phoenix Union High School where he met and married his high school sweetheart, Margie Williams. They had three children, Jim, Marc and Yvonne and were blessed to celebrate 53 years of marriage before Margie passed away. Their lives focused around their family. Their home was always open to many young people and Chuck was a great influence on them.

Chuck was fortunate to land a job with Motorola Company and worked 44 years before retiring. His position with Motorola enabled Chuck to have a wide variety of experiences. One of his favorites allowed him to travel extensively to many foreign countries to help them establish Motorola Manufacturing Plants. He truly enjoyed meeting people and learning their cultures and establishing many, many lasting friendships through his travels.

Chuck also was a hunter and a fisherman. It was relaxing for him to traipse around in the woods looking for wild game or on the lakes of Arizona throwing a fishing line out. It was always a joy for him when his sons or grandsons could join him in these ventures. Chuck also liked to take car trips and visit many fascinating places in the United States. It didn’t matter if he was going east, west, north or south. He just liked to travel.

In 2010 Chuck connected with an old friend from his youth and in June 2011 he married Jarrie Holliday and they shared seven and a half years of marital bliss until the Lord called him home on December 12, 2018 at the age of 85.

Everyone that met Chuck would call him a blessed man with a servants heart. He always reached out to others whether it was with a smile, a hand shake or good deed. He was always ready to help when help was needed and one of the first to volunteer.

Chuck wore many hats in his lifetime but his favorites were always Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Papa Chuck or Friend.
