Obituary

Maria Teresa “Terri” Oviedo, 74, of Avondale, AZ died March 23, 2017 in Phoenix, AZ. She was born on December 24, 1942 in Laredo, TX to Porfirio and Alvina Martinez.

Terri was a wife, homemaker, mother and grandmother and a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Goodyear. She worked for Community United Methodist Church as a child care worker.

Terri is survived by her husband Jesus Oviedo Sr.; daughters, Anna, Raquel, Liza, and Cristina Oviedo; son Jesus Oviedo Jr.; sisters Juana Herrera, Rebecca Rangel; brothers, Guadalupe, Jesus, Sotero, and Porfirio Martinez; and 3 grandchildren, Bryana Marin, and Cristian and John Oviedo.

A visitation will be held at 9:30 am, Rosary at 10:30 am, on Monday, April 3^rd at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 539 E. La Pasada Blvd, Goodyear, AZ. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am.
