Obituary
Joe G. Lopez, 87, of Goodyear, AZ died July 4, 2015 in Surprise, AZ. He was born December 12, 1927 in Los Angeles, CA to Luis and Margaret Lopez. Joe served in the National Guard and Merchant Marines from 1945-1952 of which he was honorably discharged. He retired from McDonald Douglas Aircraft in Long Beach, CA. Joe was an excellent cook and loved to cook for his family and friends. He loved music, golf and was an avid reader. He is survived by his daughters Carol Jarvis, Elaine Santa Cruz; son James Lopez; sister Esther Gasporra; brother Bert Lopez; 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Kathryn Lopez. Private services will be held.

Our Dad, Joe M. Polanco 3/28/1027 – 8/31/2011, was your Dad’s cousin. Your Grandmother Margaret was our Grandmother’s sister – Herlinda “Lila” Holguin Polanco.
