Obituary
Wallace Nuanez, age 73, of Litchfield Park, Arizona passed away on October 9, 2020 in Glendale, Arizona. He was born on October 27, 1946 to John and Angelina Nuanez in Phoenix, Arizona.
One of Wallace’s favorite hobbies was golf. If he wasn’t playing in a tournament he was hitting balls at the driving range or at home watching the golf channel. He also loved to travel and was able to do so with friends and family. Oftentimes he’d pack his clubs so he could play on the different courses around the country.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Nuanez; his daughters, Venessa Nuanez, Celeste Herrera, and daughter-in-law Leonor Nuanez; his son Wallace R. Nuanez and son-in-law, Manuel Herrera; his sister, Gloria Magner; his brother, John Nuanez as well as his eight grandchildren. Wallace is preceded in death by his parents, John and Angelina Nuanez.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020 from 1:00PM to 4:00PM at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road in Goodyear, Arizona 85338. Burial services will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery at a later date.

Dear auntie Gloria, Vanessa, Celeste and little Wallace,
They say we never lose the people we love, even to death – that they continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make; and that their love leaves an imprint for eternity in our memories. Your dad was my favorite uncle growing up and I always looked forward in visiting with him – he made me laugh with his “silly sense of humor” – he is now in heaven with Grandma and Grandpa Nuanez shining down on us all and will definitely be missed but never forgotten – all of my sincere condolences, love and prayers – your cousin Natalie Nuanez ❤️
