Obituary

Taylor Ann Johnson Adair, 39 of Buckeye, Arizona left to be with our Heavenly Father July 23rd, 2021.  She was born February 8th, 1982 in Phoenix, Arizona.

A true Arizona native, Taylor loved the West Valley and spent nearly her entire life living and working in Buckeye, AZ.  She graduated from Buckeye Union High School in 2000.  She then went on to get multiple Associate’s Degrees from Estrella Mountain Community College before receiving her Bachelor’s of Science in Education from Grand Canyon University in 2013.

Taylor immediately immersed herself in educating children in various grades for the last 8 years.  She always emphasized how incredibly hard her students worked, and how she felt rewarded by their educational growth/knowledge.  When her students asked her to help coach their softball teams over the last few years, Taylor unselfishly assisted them and embraced her new team role.

Taylor’s other great passions were her love of animals and her friends and family.  She had a special talent for making anyone laugh their heart out.  Her constant and beautiful smile will always be remembered. Taylor is survived by her parents Clark and Kristine Johnson, her brother Clifford Johnson and her daughter Annie Marie Adair.

A funeral will be held from 1 to 2:30PM with an open visitation from 2:30 to 4PM on October 22, 2021 at Thompson Funeral Chapel in Goodyear, Arizona.

I was a student in her English class about 6 years ago. While looking for her email to she if she still had a letter I had wrote for when I graduated highschool, I stumbled upon her obituary. I’m at a loss for words. She was a kind person, one who fostered an amazing environment for her students to learn. She brought out the best in all of us. My thoughts and prayers go to her family, especially her daughter, whom she would always brag about. Rest in Peace.
