Obituary

Sheryl Ethel Cox, age 71 of Phoenix, AZ died September 28, 2017 in Goodyear, AZ. She was born July 21, 1946 in Pittsburg, CA to Clarence and Ethel Findley. Sheryl was a band member and majorette during her high school years at Antioch High School. She graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Diablo Valley College. She retired from the United Steel Workers Union after 27 years of service. She was a poet, artist, musician, wife and mother.

Sheryl is survived by her daughter, Serena Roberts, son, Frank Cox, sister Marilyn Bays, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren Cox. Burial will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
