Obituary

Sheldon Dwayne Walker, age 37, of Glendale, Arizona passed away on April 23, 2021 in Glendale, Arizona. He was born January 28, 1984 to Derek and Sheila Walker in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Sheldon was a loving and caring father to his children and loved spending time with his family. He received his GED and went on to College to receive his Associate’s Degree in diesel mechanics. Throughout the years he held a number of jobs in the automotive field. He will be remembered as a social, hardworking, jokester who was hard-headed and very outgoing.

He is survived by his partner, Sarah Breed, his daughters; Arianna Walker and Syteiva Walker, his sons; Sheldon Walker Jr. and Josiah Walker, his sister, Adrienne Walker, and his brothers; Joshua Walker, Zechariah Walker, Derek (DJ) Walker, and Malachi Walker. Sheldon is also survived by his parents, Derek and Sheila Walker, and his grandparents, Ruby Blanks as well as Robert and Arlene Walker and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 1:00PM located at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd. in Goodyear, Arizona. Funeral services are scheduled to begin at 2:00PM following the visitation at the same location.
