Obituary

Imelda Sandoval, 78, of Avondale, has gone to eternal rest with our lord in heaven on September 29, 2012.  Imelda was born April 12, 1934 in Laredo, Texas to Rosalio and Maria Julia Segovia.  She is a native of Texas but has lived in Avondale all of her life.  She leaves behind three daughters, Elizabeth, Segovia, Juanita Sandoval and Imelda Elizondo, all of Avondale; sons Rosalio “Leo” Sandoval of Avondale and John S. Jr. of Michigan; and 5 grandchildren.  Imelda will be greatly missed.  Visitation will be from 5pm to 8pm Thursday, October 4^th at Thompson Funeral Chapel in Goodyear.  A Graveside service will be held at 10am Friday, October 5^th at Holy Cross Cemetery in Avondale.  Condolences to the family can be sent to www.thompsonfuneralchapel.com.  Services are under the direction of Thompson Funeral Chapel in Goodyear.
