Obituary
Ruben Patino Rodriguez was surrounded by loved ones as he passed away into eternal rest on May 6, 2019, at 2:23 AM. Ruben was born on September 16, 1944. He was proceeded in death by his wife Marcie Aragon Rodriguez. He was survived by his loving brothers and sisters. Additionally, he had 11 girls and 3 boys that he lived his life for. He was able to see his grandkids and great-grandkids thrive with the same strength he exhibited throughout his life. He will be greatly missed by each and everyone that he came into contact with. Services will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, May 17, 2019, at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ 85338. He will be laid to rest at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024 in a military burial for which he proudly fought and served his country in the US Army.

What a kind and wonderful man. When you visited in his home, whether it was for an amazing dinner prepared by the family or just to drop off a grandchild after going to a movie, he always greeted you with a smile and a hand shake. He was proud of all his grandchildren and loved spending time with them. He was always available to accept an invitation to PoPos for lunch or dinner and a chat with the kids. Even through his health struggles he remained a man of character and compassion. When a look and a smile took the place of words for Ruben he was still able to convey his love and kindness to all around him. My heart goes out to each member of his family, I know you will miss him. Please accept Marvin and my sincere condolences and prayers.
