Obituary

Rothacker, Charles John (Chuck) 60, of Goodyear died on April 20, 2013 after a valiant fight against cancer. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, March 16, 1953, to John (deceased) and Anne, Chuck was an avid hockey enthusiast.  He retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons and enjoyed working for the Diamondbacks and Suns.  Chuck is survived by his mother, Anne; stepfather, Jerry; wife, Alyce; sister, Diane; brother, Stephen; children, Joshua and Misty; stepdaughter, Ramona; children-in-law, Helle, Adam, and Jacques; and grandchildren, Maverick, Zander, Sebastian, JP and Alex; as well as many honorary children, grandchildren, and dear friends. A memorial celebration will be held Friday, April 26 from 4-5pm at Thompson Funeral Chapel in Goodyear.  In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Chuck’s name to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of the Valley.    Condolences can be sent to www.thompsonfuneralchapel.com.  Arrangements are under the direction of Thompson Funeral Chapel.
