  1. As a daughter-in-law of Norma Gilbert for over 37 years I can tell you she was one of the finest women I knew. When I was 15 and dating her son, she assisted me in many areas of my life. When I faced struggles at home she was always there for me. At my high school graduation she and her husband Ray were in the stands clapping for me. After her son and I married she loved all my baked goods and I enjoyed making them for her. The sweeter the better she always told me. Holidays at the Gilbert house were wonderful and her cooking was fabulous, precise and tasty. When her son and I would visit she would plan fun activities which usually ended at a wonderful Chinese food buffet that she loved. Norma could sit for at least a couple hours at the restaurant and savor every moment. I am so happy she lived a long, full life. She is loved now and forever.

Norma was my mother-in law for 51 years. I will always remember the wonderful visits we had.She was a great cook and cooked many meals for us. She loved all the holiday celebrations we had as a family. It made me happy when she would comment on the holiday decorations and food I made when they came for holidays.Since she had no daughters we enjoyed having girl talk together. She had a long, happy life and I’m so glad to have been in her life. May she rest in peace with her husband Ray and eldest son Ray Jr.
