Obituary

Milagros “Mila” Cuenca Ferrer Fraleigh, age 72, made a sudden departure to her heavenly home on September 13, 2018, at 10:58 pm while residing in Surprise, AZ for the last 4 years.

Mila was a fun, loving, honest, and caring person that loved the Lord and wanted the best for others.  The youngest of 13 children, she was passionate about her family.  She adored her sister Millie, children and grandchildren and could spend hours on the phone talking about them.  She never met a stranger and always opened her home and made people feel welcomed.  People will always remember her laughter, giggling, cooking great food, and her choice of Filipino words when she got excited.

Mila was preceded in death by her husband, CMSGT Augustus F. Fraleigh; and is survived by her five children, MSGT Keith (Elsa) Fraleigh, Robert (Regina) Fraleigh, TSGT. Ken (Linda) Fraleigh, Louanne (MSGT Ronald) Page, Dr. Wayne (Kim) Fraleigh; sister Amelia Beeker; 14 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and companion, Jim Jones, that cared for and loved her these past four years.

A visitation will be held from 5-7pm on September 19 with a memorial service following at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ  85338.

Burial will be held at a time yet to be determined at Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1300 Buffalo Soldier Trail, Sierra Vista, Arizona, where she will be laid to rest with her husband.  Condolences for the family may be left at www.ThompsonFuneralChapel.com.
