Obituary

Mrs. Mary Arletta Rodriguez, age 88, of Avondale, Arizona passed away on July 26, 2020 in Avondale, Arizona. She was born on February 2, 1932 to James Robinson and Pearl Dinnelle Robinson in Caruthersville, Missouri.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Patricia Montgomery, Linda Streitz, Jane Burleson, Rosie Whidden, Effie Smith, Bama Spoon, and Anna Rodriguez; her sisters, Martha Freeman, Betty Chaffin, and Ann Jung; and her brother, Ranzy Robinson. Mary is also survived by her 119 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Jose Jesus Rodriguez.

Funeral services are scheduled for 7pm on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 South Litchfield Rd. Goodyear, Arizona. With a visitation being held one-hour prior. Burial Services are going to be held on Tuesday, August 11 at 9am at Avondale Goodyear Farms Historic Cemetery, 12701 West Indian School Rd. Avondale, AZ.
