Obituary
Maria M. Islas, age 63, of Buckeye, Arizona passed away on August 25, 2020 in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born on October 19, 1956 to Dionicio Medina and Concepcion Arreola in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico.
Maria is survived by her husband, Gabriel Leal Islas; her daughter, Mayra Islas Silva; her son, Jesus Gabriel Islas; and her ten grandchildren and threegreat-grandchildren. Maria is preceded in death by Luis Islas.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 1:00PM at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd. Goodyear, AZ. Funeral services are to follow the visitation at 2:30PM at the same location.

One thing I will remember most about Maria Islas is the unconditional love she had for her family I am proud to call her my tia she will be missed everyday and in every way.

What a wonderful opportunity I had to know Maria Islas, she was a lovely woman with a heart of Gold. Heaven has a new Angel that will be watching over us. You will be deeply missed, but we know we will see you again when the Father calls us home.
