Obituary
Mr. Malcom Duane Kimble, 77, of Buckeye, Arizona died on September 28, 2021 in Goodyear, Arizona. He was born August 24, 1944 to Russell Kimble and Marvel Ruth Mitchell Kimble in Centerville, Iowa.
Malcom worked hard to raise his family of five children. In 1972 he became a Police Officer for the city of Lisbon, Iowa and their Police Chief in 1974. He retired after 32 years with the most rewarding sense of pride from the career he loved.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Kimble, daughters, Patty (John) Gately and Jeane (Samuel) Santos, sons, Dewayne Kimble, David Kimble, and Stephen Kimble, sister, Debra Corse, brothers, James Kimble, Russell Kimble, and Anthoney Vincent, 18 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Malcom was preceded in death by his mother, father, step-father, and grandparents.
A visitation and funeral will be held at 6pm on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Thompson Funeral Chapel. A burial will be held at a future date.

I am so sorry for your loss! Malcom worked for my family in Ottumwa Iowa on our mink ranch and he was like a son to my father and the best big brother to me. He protected my head under his arm when we were in a trailer behind my dad’s tractor in a horrific hail storm. I always considered him my mighty protector. So awesome he went into law enforcement to continue that gift. I had no idea he was in Arizona like me. Would have loved to see my friend and hero again. God bless you all. RIP Malcom Kimble
