Obituary

Kenneth (Ken) Irvin Rodolff, age 63, passed away on April 6, 2021 in Buckeye, Arizona after an 18-month battle with ALS (Lou Gerhig’s disease).

He was born August 24, 1957 to John and Evelyn in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He graduated in 1979 from Kutztown University in Kutztown, Pennsylvania. In 1988 Ken moved his family to Aurora, Illinois after being promoted to Assistant Distribution Manager with SILO, Inc where he worked until they disbanded in 1995. Ken started with ACCO Brands USA in 1995, first in a Warehouse Supervisor role, and then as a Senior Business Analyst until his retirement in 2013. Ken and Laura met at ACCO Brands and they married in 2006.

Ken was happiest when he was serving God, and served with excellence on the Audio/Visual team of his church. He was also passionate about a wide variety of music, from hymns to classical to rock. He loved playing guitar and was an excellent air guitarist and air drummer. He loved helping people with computer problems and was known as the “Go-To” guy at church and in his community for any type of computer-related problems.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Laura, his daughter, Aimee Rodolff (Mantas Valeika), his son, Kyle Rodolff, and his sister-in-law, Rebecca Rodolff. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother John Rodolff, and his sister, Rebecca Benner.

A celebration of life for Ken will be held April 11, 2021 at 3:00PM at Desert Hills Baptist Church in Buckeye, Arizona.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either the Arizona or San Diego chapters of the ALS Association.
