Obituary

Jone A. Oliver, 67, of Buckeye, passed away on October 11, 2021 in Goodyear, when she lost her battle with Cancer and pneumonia. Jone’s dream was to be a nurse, it was the only job she ever wanted; she accomplished this goal when she went back to school at the age of 40. For 27 years she did exactly what she dreamed of. She was well respected and loved by patients and colleagues. She enjoyed spending time with her family and sewing.
Jone is survived by her daughters Christina and husband Michael Wilcox, Jennifer Cardiel, her husband Rigo Cardiel, her four beloved grandchildren Shaun, Hailey (fiancé James), Logan, and Riley, and her great-grandson Oakley. She is also survived by siblings David (wife Nancy) Blow, James (wife Jodi) Blow, and Janet (husband Steve) Bissonette. She also had many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Jone was predeceased by her parents Harvey and Catherine Blow, sisters Joyce and Mary, and brothers Kenneth and Raymond. Jone grew up in Colchester, Vermont. Her family lived on a farm where she rode horses and helped her family work the farm. She loved to cook and bake, especially when it came to competing against her son-in-law Mike. They would often have a “who made it best” competition. She won, of course, but it was all in good fun.
There will be a Celebration of Life ice cream social for her. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Cancer Treatment Center of America – Phoenix, Arizona location.
