Obituary
John R. Childers, 77 of Tolleson, Arizona passed away peacefully at his home on March 31st, 2021 in Tolleson, Arizona. He was born March 10th, 1944 to Robert B. Childers and Katherine L. Childers.
He served in the Army from June of 1962 to June of 1965 as a 52 section security and intelligence.
John loved to read, play with his dog, watch NASCAR and baseball, golfing, casinos, Mexican food, going to the dunes and traveling.
He is survived by his common law wife, Yolanda Tarin, daughter Christina Cano, son Rafael Cano, and two grandchildren Robert Frescas and Crystal Williams.
A memorial service will be held from 1-4PM on Thursday, April 8th, 2021 at Thompson Funeral Chapel.

Oh, what a loss of a great man! Having known him for over 60 years there are so many memories of his early life – camping, vacations, work functions, dunes, etc. His large family in Indiana, his daughter, Terri, all feel the loss of this wonderful man. You are all in my prayers. Fly high, John. You are missed.
