Obituary

Joan A. Hernandez, 64, of Goodyear, Arizona died July 21, 2021 in Goodyear, Arizona.  She was born September 23, 1956 in Las Cruces, New Mexico to Gilbert Lucero and Carol Amador.

Joan attended Hermosa Elementary, Lynn Jr. High, and Las Cruces High School where she met her High School sweetheart, Albert Hernandez.  They were married and they spent the next 47 years together. The newlyweds moved to Goodyear, Arizona in 1977 to work at the Palo Verde Nuclear Plant and have been there ever since. Joan entered into eternal rest on July 21^st, 2021.

She is survived by her husband, Albert Hernandez, her daughter, Sabrina Tremoulis, and her sisters, Sylvia Romero and Louisa Romero Harley. Joan is also survived by her three grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother, Carol Romero, her step-father, John Romero, and her granddaughter, Alexandra.
