Obituary

Jennifer Garcia, age 55, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2022, at Hospice of the Valley in Surprise from colon cancer. Though cancer physically robbed her of her life here in this world, her strength and loving heart will never be forgotten, her spirit truly lives forever. She was born January 22, 1967, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Julian and Elva Linares. Her life was a gift to everyone she was around, her smile would light a room and her presence was never unnoticed. She cared about the details of things and always gave all she had. She simply just wanted to enjoy life and always make the best of it. Family gatherings consisted of music, food, and dancing-her absolute favorite things. She is survived by her parents, Julian and Elva Linares; her seven children, Eddie Garcia, Robert Garcia, Stephanie Gonzalez, Jenavie Garcia, Tifanie Muniz, Steven Salazar and Destanie Salazar; two brothers, Julian and Freddy Linares; a sister, Brenda Linares; 18 grandchildren; and many aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family, friends and others whose lives Jennifer has touched are invited to Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd., Goodyear, Arizona, from 1p.m.-4p.m. on Friday, May 27, 2022 in remembrance of her and to celebrate the legacy she lived and leaves for us.
