Jack Milton Spencer, age 69, a resident of Ajo, Arizona, passed away at 11:30pm on October 4, 2022 in Phoenix, Arizona at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born October 10, 1952 to his mother Verele Gladys Thomas and father Raymond George Spencer in Portland, Oregon. Jack was born and raised in Oregon and moved to Arizona in 2017 with his wife and family. He was a wonderful, loving father who always enjoyed talking about fishing and hunting.

He had many jobs; mainly dealing with driving trucks long and short haul. Jack served in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1973. His favorite things that he loved doing were fishing for trout and going hunting for Elk along with caring for his nine chickens and three roosters at his home in Ajo, Arizona. One of his favorite memories that he always mentioned was when he got to go fishing in the ocean with an old friend – which always seemed to happen yearly.

Jack was called dad by many people like Raymond Spencer, Billy Spencer, and Amy Miller, along with many younger family and friends that adored hm and always loved to be around him. Jack is survived by his daughter, Holly spencer; and his brothers Joseph Spencer and Raymond Spencer. He also left behind dogs, a cat, and chickens. Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Spencer, both of his parents, and all but two of his siblings.
