Obituary
Henry Martinez Sanchez SR, became a Citizen of Heaven February 9th, 2021 due to
complications from COVID-19. He was born July 15th,1949 in Buckeye, Arizona to Demetrio
and Crusita Sanchez. He married his childhood friend who later became his true love, Josie, on
January 22nd,1971. Henry loved the outdoors. Any chance he had, he was either hunting,
fishing, camping or traveling. He worked at hospitals and emergency centers across the valley
as a radiologist technician. Henry retired at Abrazo Buckeye Emergency Center in late 2019.
Henry is survived by his wife, Josie, of 50 years of marriage, 3 children, 15 grandchildren and 1
great- grandson.
Services will be held March 2nd,2021 at 10 am

I knew Henry when we worked together at Maryvale hospital many years ago in the late 80’s. He was such a fun man and gave me a lot of knowledge to take with me in my life. We share the same birth date and also High School. I have always held the most wonderful memories of him in my life.
RIP Henry Sanchez.
