Obituary

Gloria Perez Fuentes, age 72, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on July 8, 2020 in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born on May 17, 1948 in El Paso, Texas to Pablo Perez Sr and Maria Gallegos.

Gloria was a loving mother of 2, sister, cousin, and friend. She graduates from Phoenix Union high school in the early 60’s, she volunteered as a teacher aide for a few years, she also taught English to friends to earn extra income. She got married in February of 1975 and had 2 children. In 1980 she began to work for the state of Arizona industrial commission where she worked for 20 years. She retired in 2001. In her retirement she helped raise and take care of her granddaughter, grandsons, and great-grandson for the remainder of her years. She loved and cherished every moment she spent with her family kids and grand kids. She was all around a beautiful soul; she was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Gloria is survived by her daughter, Tara Ramirez, her sons, Ivan Raymondi, and Gabriel Ramierez (son-in-law), her sisters, Lilly Gallegos, Leticia Gonzales, Irma Perez, her brothers, Pablos Perez Jr., Carlos Marquez, Enrique Marquez, Jesus Marquez, and Silvero Gallegos. Gloria is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, Xierra, Christian, Xavier, David, Barbara, Gabriel Jr., and Lilyana, and her 1 great-grandchild, Alejandro Jr. Gloria is preceded in death by her mother Maria Gallegos and her father Pablo Perez Sr.

Visitation services are going to be held on Friday, July 24, 2020 from 6 to 9PM at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd. in Goodyear, Arizona.
