Truly a great lady that will be missed by many .
I work at Frys which is were I had the pleasure of meeting Gertrude and she was much more than just a customer to me. She was a friendly smile, a loving hug, and a funny quip (like when I’d ask how she was doing and she’d say “well honey, I’m finer then cats hair split three ways”). She brightened my days and I’m blessed to have gotten the privilege of knowing her. My sincerest condolences for your loss.
Our condolences to the family. Y’all are in our prayers and thoughts. We love y’all.
I have such fond memories of your family while my Dad and Mom along with Mr and Mrs Buttes were involved in Little League as the boys were growing up. Rip
Barbara Gage and Mary Solano, who knew Gertrude through “Wendy Po Ceramics” on Western Avenue, years ago.
I also know her through the AFUHS, I worked in the Business Office from 1972 to retirement July 1992.
Both of us wish our condolences to the family.
