Obituary

Perry Lee Garrison, 85, of Buckeye, died July 7, 2013 in Goodyear of natural causes.  He was born March 22, 1928 to Ernest Lee Garrison and Alta Garrison in Keystone, Oklahoma.  He was a 60 year member in good standing of the Internal Brotherhood of Pipefitters and he was also a member of the Gold Prospectors Association of America.  He is survived by his daughter Beverly Scheel; sons Perry, Albert, Basil and Donald Garrison; sister Shirley Sutton; 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.  He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred Garrison and brother Leo Garrison.  A visitation will be held at 10am on Saturday, July 13^th at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd in Goodyear.  Funeral services will follow at 11am, Rev. Jim Swinford will officiate.  Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Avondale.  Donations can be made to Hospice of the Valley in honor of Perry Lee Garrison.
