Obituary

Gail Rachelle Nicholson, age 67 of Goodyear, AZ died December 15, 2019, in Sun City, AZ. She was born February 2, 1952, in Erie, PA to Charles and Shirley Sheehan Griewahn. She moved to Arizona at a young age and grew up in Phoenix. Gail worked as a waitress for many years at Bob’s Big Boy, Coco’s and most recently at Cracker Barrel. She was loyal to her employers and customers, staying with each restaurant for many years. Energetic and hardworking, she taught aerobics and often rode her bicycle to work.

Gail worked hard to provide a welcoming, comfortable home for her family and guests alike. She was an excellent cook and loved to entertain as well as cook for her children. She loved animals and included many rescue dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, and even chickens, cows, and horses in her household. Her family was very important to her and she often worried and prayed for each family member. She was staunchly loyal, loved unconditionally and freely forgave. Her perseverance without complaint inspired her children and friends.

Gail is survived by her daughter, Stacia Tolley; sons, Cory French, Clint French, and Eric Nicholson; father, Charles Griewahn; sisters, Chrisy Griewahn, and Susan Wallace; brothers, Kurt Russell, Eric Russell, and Charlie Griewahn; and five grandchildren.
