  1. So saddened to hear of Franny’s passing. A great friend and housemate from Ithaca College. My thoughts and those of my family are with you.

  2. So sorry hearing the passing of Fran “Cil’s” Ciliberti . Cil’s was a pleasure to watch on the court, and a even better person off. He was the true meaning of a gentleman.

    Rest In Peace my Friend.

  3. I can’t express to you what an amazing true friend Franny was in our college days. We really did have the best of times. Anybody who ever crossed his path will endure a loss. Love ya Franny!

  4. I am deeply saddened to hear the news of Fran’ s passing . I played with him at Archbishop Ryan . A great player , great person off and on the court . Saw him at a Ryan game last year for the first time in about 35 years . Always so respectful. Rest In Peace my friend .

  5. Franny was “one of the crew” at Ithaca and will be sorely missed. I lived with him one summer at Ithaca and still remember those times. My thoughts and prayers go out to his surviving family.

  6. Franny was really a great friend and a great person. He was thoroughly decent and outgoing, a true friend who was as humble a person as he was a cold blooded killer on the basketball court. Even in recent times, whenever you caught up with him, no matter how long it had been, it felt like you were just hanging out with him just a day ago. Just a devastating loss .
My thoughts go to his family, and friends, all who feel as I do.
Bird, the only person who didn’t like you was whoever the unlucky sap was who had to guard you on the basketball court- and that was only until the game was over.
    I miss you, my brother!
Sorry for all the elbows- I had no shot against you- you knew it, I knew it, our mothers even knew it! I fouled out by halftime!
    Sincerely,
    Ken Adamchak

  7. Cil’s was the best. We met playing basketball as freshmen at IC and shared so many great times in the ensuing years that I will remember them forever. Franny will be missed by all who had a chance to spend time with him.
My thoughts go out to his family.
