Franny was really a great friend and a great person. He was thoroughly decent and outgoing, a true friend who was as humble a person as he was a cold blooded killer on the basketball court. Even in recent times, whenever you caught up with him, no matter how long it had been, it felt like you were just hanging out with him just a day ago. Just a devastating loss .
My thoughts go to his family, and friends, all who feel as I do.
Bird, the only person who didn’t like you was whoever the unlucky sap was who had to guard you on the basketball court- and that was only until the game was over.
I miss you, my brother!
Sorry for all the elbows- I had no shot against you- you knew it, I knew it, our mothers even knew it! I fouled out by halftime!
Sincerely,
Ken Adamchak

Cil’s was the best. We met playing basketball as freshmen at IC and shared so many great times in the ensuing years that I will remember them forever. Franny will be missed by all who had a chance to spend time with him.
My thoughts go out to his family.

Franny was two years ahead of me in high school. Covering him in practice, or at least attempting to, made me better every day. He was so good and so smooth. He was such a great guy and teammate and I was so shocked to hear this news. Saw him at a game a few years back. He was still the same. He will me missed!

I grew up with Fran going all through grade school and high school. I am saddened to read two years later that Fran has passed on.
Everyone enjoyed watching him on the basketball courts or just hanging out catching up.
Even though it’s been so long since I’ve seen Fran I am deeply saddened and my prayers go out to all his family.
Fran I will never forget all the memories. I am proud friend that was happy to know you.
You will be deeply missed by all of us especially the class of 1984
We all had so many laughs and great memories.
RIP
