Obituary

Frances Rodriguez, age 86 died November 11, 2018, in Goodyear, AZ.  She was born October 4, 1932, to Manuel and Hortencia Ballesteros Noriega in Nacozari, Mexico, and grew up in Douglas, AZ.  Frances was a homemaker.  She loved her children and grandchildren very much.  She is survived by her daughter, Lorena Rodriguez; son, Oscar Rodriguez; sisters, Graciela Enriquez and Clarissa Mercer; brothers, Manuel and Arnoldo Noriega; five grandchildren, Andromeda, Maria Elizabeth, Cruz, Cristian, and Anissa; and one great-grandchild, Eric.  She was preceded in death by her son, Gerardo “Jerry” Rodriguez, parents, three sisters, and one brother.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 9:00 pm with a rosary at 6:30 pm, Thursday, November 15, 2018, at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ.  A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, November 16, 2018, at St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 13720 W. Thomas Road, Avondale, AZ  85392.  Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 9925 W. Thomas Road, Avondale, AZ 85392.
