Obituary
Mr. Edward Gomez, 44, of Tolleson, Arizona died September 11, 2021. He was born April 12, 1977 in Phoenix, Arizona to Matthew Gomez and Martha Valencia. He is survived by his wife Maria Gomez, daughters Zandra and Aleana Gomez, and sons Matthew and Izaiah Gomez.
Eddie was one of those people who offered so much to this world without realizing it. He stood for so many things and protected everyone without hesitation; but never forgot to make you laugh. He was a protector in its truest form and always extended a hand to people regardless of what walk of life you came from. This man offered the opportunity to be part of his family through the love and passion he stored in his heart of gold.
A public visitation will be held October 1 at 6 PM with a funeral service to follow at 7:30PM at Thompson Funeral Home in Goodyear, Arizona.

My condolences go out to Edward’s family and friends. I did know Edward well, but I have worked with him for may years and knew he a genuine man. I know he will be missed. I will be thinking of you and your family during this difficult time.
