Obituary

Dorothy “Dottie” Hilty of Avondale, Arizona passed away on November 30, 2022 at the age of 75. She was born May 1, 1947 in South Boston to Howard and Frances Morris.

Dottie worked for True Value for 30 years. She loved gardening, especially caring for her roses. She was a generous woman, giving back to the community often, but especially generous towards her grandchildren.

Dottie is survived by her son, Richard Davis and sisters Evelyn Dupont of Florida and Linda Cobb of North Carolina. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Hilty, daughter, Daphne Wells, brother, Franklin Morris, sister Shirley Davis, and her first husband, Edwin Davis.

A funeral service will be held at 10AM on Saturday, January 7^th at Desert Springs Worship Center (10714 W 4^th St, Cashion, Arizona).
