Obituary

Donald Dean Burgess was born in DeSoto, Missouri on January 20, 1934 and entered into rest on June 5,2021 at his home in Litchfield Park, Arizona. He was the child of Donald Franklin Burgess and Gertrude (Couch) Burgess.

He graduated from Central Methodist College and the St. Louis College of Pharmacy spending most of his career as a pharmacist at the Rexall Drug in DeSoto, Missouri which he owned and managed for over 50 years.

Donald “Dean” Burgess was married Carol (Lowe) Burgess for 57 years. Dean is proceeded in death by his parents and his wife Carol. He leaves behind three daughters Nancy (Bruce) Wiley, Karen (Scott) Palmer, Donna McMillan and his sister Dorothy (Kent) Kreh. He leaves behind eight grandchildren, Ben, Mitch, Dean, Tess, Claire, Tory, Ryan and Kyle as well as his significant other Suzanne Boyer, also residing in Litchfield Park, AZ

Dean was an avid golfer and sports enthusiast. His generosity and kindness will never be forgotten by those who experienced it.
