Obituary

On Wednesday, February 24, 2021, Dolores Munoz, loving wife and mother of 3, passed away at the age of 53.

Dolores is survived by her husband, Eric Munoz, her 3 children, Sabrina Suniga, Alicia Jacques and Albert Suniga, mother, Aurora Suniga, sister, Gloria Suniga, brother, Jesse Ben Suniga Jr. and six grandchildren; Aric Rubio, Audrina DeLeon, Aubrey DeLeon, Alex DeLeon Jr, Alana Suniga, and Avery Suniga. She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Ben Suniga Sr.

Dolores was born on March 12, 1967 in Phoenix, AZ to Jesse and Aurora Suniga. She attained her high school diploma from Tolleson Union High School in 2005. She worked for the Department of Corrections for 20 years before retiring in 2019.

Dolores was a hardworking, caring, and loving soul. Besides spending time with her family, she loved camping and traveling. Her favorite place to visit was Rocky Point, Mexico also known as her second home. Although she loved her husband and children deeply, she had a special kind of love for her grand babies. Dolores was known for her compassionate spirit, infectious smile and words of wisdom. She will be severely missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Thompson Funeral Chapel, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
