Obituary

DeForest “De” Frisbie, age 81 of Goodyear, Arizona died August 29, 2017. He was born October 15, 1935 in Hempstead, NY to DeForest Frisbie and Katherine Rafferty. He served in the US Army from 1955 to 1962 as a Paratrooper achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant.   De was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Lions Club International and the Moose Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Frisbie; daughters, Therese Alexus, and Michelle Hart; sons, DeForest Frisbie, Jr. and Donald Frisbie; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, September 22, 2017 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 13720 W Thomas Rd, Avondale, AZ.
