Obituary

Damian Alfonso Gonzalez, age 23 of Litchfield Park, AZ passed away on September 2, 2018, in Florence, AZ.  He was born February 11, 1995, in Phoenix, AZ to Alfonso Gonzalez and Erika Cruz.  Damian was his mother’s first born child.  Tender-hearted, kind and sensitive, he was his mother’s “Sonshine!” Damian was a good big brother and very protective of his sisters and brothers.  Though he was funny and could be a jokester at times, he was also respectful and well mannered.  He was like most young men and enjoyed music and cars and his mom’s cooking.  He was very handsome and very confident of his great looks!

He knew the importance of love and loyalty and was very grateful for his family’s love & support.

His family is thankful for the many memories and letters that they have from him, each one ending with the words, “I love you & I Miss you!”

Damian is survived by his parents, Erika and Jesus M. Cruz, and Alfonso Gonzalez; sisters, Allyssa Gonzalez, Amaiah Cruz, Jessie M. Cruz, and Yesenia Perez; brothers, Nathaniel Gonzalez and Isaiah Cruz; and grandparents, Araceli Montano, Mario Aguirre, and Elena Gonzalez Garcia.
