Dale Nicks

Passed: April 17, 2021

Obituary

Dale Nicks, 62, of Buckeye, Arizona passed on to his new life in Heaven on April 17, 2021 in Buckeye, Arizona.  He was born on December 3, 1958 in Chicago Heights, Illinois.

Dale’s wife, sons, daughter-in-law, and grandson were everything to him. Dale had a great sense of humor, and got ordained (online) so he could marry his son Kyle and Becca; he even made them call him Pastor Dale! He was a friend to everyone. He was brave through this battle and ready to be with the Lord.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Nicks, sons, Kyle D Nicks (Becca), Andrew F Nicks, Ryan P Nicks, sister Debi Jean (Butch), brothers, Dan Nicks, Don Nicks (Sarah), Dennis Nicks (Maryanne), Darrell Nicks (Denise), and one grandson, Oliver E Nicks.  He also had two honorary brother’s, Steve and Chuck Lager who he grew up with.  They loved and supported him no matter what.  They were the true definition of what a brother is; Dale loved them dearly!

Dale was preceded in death by his mother, Anne L Nicks and brother, David Nicks.

There will be a private celebration of life for Dale and would like to thank everyone for their support in this difficult time.

We miss you so much it hurts, I’m so sorry you suffered so much to get to heaven, but you’re free now, You’re so blessed to be with Jesus, It’s what we all long for. Tomorrow is our 33 Anniversary, it doesn’t seem real at moments, then others I wake up in a crying panic , Ollie said Papa Jesus and blew you a kiss . I will be with you again, what a beautiful day that will be. Xoxoxox Kimmy

  3. Eva Valdez says:

There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Dale will truly be missed and may God be with his family through this tough time

I was thinking of what it was that I could write for Dale.
To me he was a honest, fair, good hearted person. Would take the time to listen to you. Knew him for to short a time, but will remember him for a very long time .
We will continue to pray for the family as I know losing a loved one is extremely difficult.
    Bless you Kim and family.
