Obituary

Mrs. Carmen Luera Gutierrez, age 76, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on March 29, 2021 in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born November 30, 1944 to Ignacio Calderon Luera and Angelita Madrid Luera in Sweetwater, Texas.

Carmen is survived by her daughters; Christina and Cynthia Gutierrez, her sons; Roy and Mark Gutierrez, and her sister; Petra Baltazar and Virginia Luera. She is also survived by her four grandchildren; Kayla Cota-Blanco, Steven Blanco, Alyssa Cota, and Zoe Gutierrez. Carmen is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Gutierrez, her son, Albert Gutierrez Jr., and her grandson, Eric Isaac Albert Gutierrez.

A visitation will be held at 8:00AM on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd. in Goodyear, Arizona. Burial services will be held at Louis B. Hazelton Memorial Cemetery, 23100 W. Broadway Rd. in Buckeye, Arizona.
