Obituary

Bryson Izak Garcia of Buckeye, Arizona died September 23, 2022 at the age of 22. He was born February 24, 2000 in Clovis, New Mexico to Javier Garcia and Tenille Anaya. He is survived by his parents, Tenille Anaya and Javier Garcia; brothers Vincent and Landon Garcia; half-brother Jayden Garcia; maternal grandparents Trisha Smith and Ted Anaya; and Paternal Grandmother Dora Garcia.

From a young age, Bryson was known as an outgoing and driven person. He was a freshman in high school when he made the varsity football team as a quarter back. By the age of 22, he had realized his dream of being able to afford a lifestyle to buy vehicles and the goal of retirement by 30. He was an athlete and enjoyed everything from football to cliff jumping.

But Bryson was also known as a gentle soul. He loved to make people happy and to see them smile. He had a love for animals, to cook for family and friends, and had volunteered at food banks and kitchens to help those in need. He loved to be outside, enjoying time by himself or with family and friends. He loved to travel and his next adventure was going to visit a friend in Croatia.

Bryson was raised to give back whenever possible. He would give back in many ways; by experiences, words, gifts, and time. He was reaching the point in his life that he understood time is beauty, and we get limited time so make memories. He also understood that money is not happiness. He knew and understood that it assists in the endeavors of happiness and the ability to DO more, but ultimately happiness is found in much smaller things than money. Bryson found a simple happiness sitting playing Pokémon with his girlfriend Taylor, prank calling his parents, riding his go cart in the rain, and true happiness in helping those in need.

Bryson’s mother, Tenille Anaya, will be having private services at an announced date and time to those invited.

Bryson’s father, Javier Garcia, will be holding a Celebration of Life from 1 to 4pm, Saturday, October 22 at Thompson Funeral Chapel. Mr. Garcia invites those whose lives were touched by Bryson to attend the Celebration of Life.

Thank You so much for your help and assistance during this very emotional difficult time.
