Truly saddened upon hearing of the passing of a dear friend. May you now have eternal peace and freedom from all your demons. Your smile and laughter will be missed. Until we meet again with all our friends, my heart goes out to your family.

Brenda, it was fun to have you in JROTC at West Phoenix High School in the mid-1970s. Many of us underclassmen had a terrific crush on you but alas, you were out of reach. You were a star in the recruiting film made in Spring 1973 — we certainly put our best foot forward in that film, thanks to you.
You’ll always be in the thoughts of us cadets who found a home in JROTC. When you get to Heaven, please say hello to Sarge for all of us. Just tell him to beware the water pressure on the drinking fountain. Until we meet again, Brenda…
