Obituary

Aurora Baca, age 55 died February 6, 2020, in Glendale, AZ. She was born July 17, 1964, in Phoenix, AZ to Genevieve Gonzales and Pablo Garcia. She attended Tolleson Union High School. Aurora was the caretaker of the family. She lovingly, but firmly, made sure that every family member was well cared for and successful in their activities. She had the kind of strength that only comes to those who overcome adversity. Her example of courage and deep love will remain forever with her family.

Aurora is survived by her daughters, Sophia Murriea, and Stephanie Barba; nine grandchildren, Alyssa Barba, Adan Carrillo; Angel Carrillo, Desirae Barba, Juanito Carrillo, Joseph Barba, Rosario Baca, III, Armando Carrillo, Jr., and Jacob Barba; one great-granddaughter, Alize M. Carrillo and stepfather Mario Medina. She was preceded in death by her mother, Genevieve Medina, and son, Rosario Reyes Baca, Jr.

A visitation will be held at 9:00 am followed by a funeral service at 10:00 am, Saturday, February 29, 2020, at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ 85338.
