Obituary

Mr. Arthur “Frank” McDaniel, 81, of Buckeye, Arizona died February 1, 2021 in Litchfield Park, Arizona. He was born January 22, 1940 to Robert McDaniel and Ella McDaniel in Ajo, Arizona. He served in the Arizona Air National Guard.

He is survived by his wife Ruth Ann McDaniel and son Gregory (Carol) McDaniel. He is also survived by his sister Doralene Beaupre, and brothers Wayne McDaniel and Timothy McDaniel. He also leaves behind six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son Jeffrey Stuart McDaniel.

Frank was a Charter Member of Local 140 International Union of Elevator Constructors. He was a two-time Arizona Sprint Car Champion (1963 and 1970), and was inducted into the Arizona State Auto Racing Hall of Fame in 1991 and the Tucson Raceway Park Hall of Fame in 2003.
A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, September 18 at Thompson Funeral Chapel in Goodyear, Arizona. Donations can be made in Frank’s memory to Tunnel2Towers.org
