Obituary

Our beloved Andre Christopher Camarena, age 49 of Avondale, AZ was called to heaven March 30, 2020 in Surprise, AZ.  He was born April 6, 1970 in Phoenix, AZ to William Camarena and Virginia Burruel.  Andre was an exceptional human being.  He had a happy-go-lucky personality that he readily shared with everyone around him.  He enjoyed doing puzzles and coloring.  He liked the feel of money in his hand.  He loved to eat, especially sweets.  He really enjoyed his birthday and Christmas and liked to dance with his cousins, brothers and sisters while celebrating.  He loved being with his family.

Andre is survived by his father and stepmother, William P and Jessie Camarena; sister, Vanessa Serpa (David); brother Jason W. Camarena (Tina); stepbrothers, David Valverde, Anthony Valverde (Micaela), Louie Dominguez (Rachel); stepsister, Aundrea Valverde; uncle, Frank Camarena; and his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia B. Atkins.  The family would like to thank his caregiver, Linda Madrid, for her devoted time and service to Andre.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday June 13, 2020 at 10am at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 South Litchfield Rd. in Goodyear. Due to COVID-19, the family has asked that no small children be brought to the memorial service for their own safety, thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding.
