Obituary

Francisco B. Salcido Jr., 86, of Avondale, died on June 10, 2013.  He was born April 8, 1927 to Francisco Salcido Jr. and Ernestina Salcido in Tempe, Arizona.  Frank was an Army Veteran and served in WWII.  Frank was a humble man of silent strength.  He was a devoted to his loving wife, Stella, a father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife Stella.  They were married for 63 years.  Frank is survived by his sons Paul R. Salcido, Frank R. Salcido, three daughters, Mary Salcido, Concha Salcido Peters and Ortencia Dina Salcido, three sisters, Josephina Valdez, Mary Revello and Amelia Ortiz, seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his brothers Ramon Salcido and Louis Salcido.  His family and friends will come together on June 14th at 9:00 am to remember, honor and celebrate his life at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd in Goodyear.  Burial will follow to Holy Cross Cemetery in Avondale, AZ.  Condolences can be sent to www.thompsonfuneralchapel.com.  Arrangements are under the direction of Thompson Funeral Chapel in Goodyear, AZ.
