LeLand “Lee” Myron Ullman, 87, of Goodyear, AZ passed away on November 29, 2015.  He was born September 10, 1928 in Lowell, OH, the fourth of ten children born to Gilbert and Minnie Ullman.  He married Patsy King in 1953 in Avondale, AZ.  Patsy passed away on December 14, 1985.  They have two sons.  In 1991 Lee married Connie Kirby.

His family is very proud of his awards as Outstanding Police Officer of the Year and Fireman of the Year.  His induction into the AZ Veterans’ Hall of Fame in 2005 was one of his proudest achievements.

Though he has achieved much professionally, nothing can compare to the devotion, love and encouragement he has shown his entire family.  The impact he has had on his family members, both individually and collectively, is everlasting and will carry on for generations.

  1. Mike Ullman says:

My dad was a lot of things to a lot of people. He touched the lives of many people and always left a lasting impression. He was also a great dad to me and Dave and loved everyone in his family. Nothing was to big for him to accomplish and nothing was to small for him to ignore. He was a very special man and did it his way. He once said, “I may not always be right, but I’m never wrong”. Love you dad!

    1. Mike – I was out of state and am so sorry I missed your father’s services. I know how special he was to you and your family. He was also very special to the City of Goodyear, especially the fire department. Gotta get the admin gals together to meet you for lunch sometime soon. Hugs.
