Floyd Wilson Middleton, 86 years old of Avondale, Arizona passed away on Nov 4, 2023 in his sleep.
He was born on March 13, 1937 to Champ Middleton and Alberta Webster. Floyd enlisted in the United States Army in 1955 and was honorable discharged in 1958.
On 1960, Floyd and Gladys Stewart United in Holly Matrimony. Floyd and Gladys went on to have three children. James, Lynda (Cookie), and Del Marie.
Floyd was predeceased by his father Champ Middleton, his mother Alberta Haney, and his brother.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Gladys Middleton, Avondale AZ. His children Son James E. Miller (Tonye), Houston TX, Lynda Griffin (Henry), Avondale AZ, Del Marie Shields (Cliff), Tulsa OK. His grandchildren Derrick Montgomery (Michelle), Phoenix AZ., Yolanda Griffin Lee (Rahim), Phoenix AZ, Latrecia Lane (James), Michigan City, IN, Henry Griffin Jr. (Bugambilia), Phoenix AZ. Latasha Harris (Craig) Laveen, AZ. Angie Davis Phoenix AZ. Thomas Newton (Ruthie), Phoenix AZ. Tiffany Griffin, Michigan City IN. Mark Griffin (Ali), Goodyear AZ. Andre Shields, Tulsa OK, Hannah Shields Tulsa Ok, Amanda Stapleton, Indianapolis, IN. 35 Great Grandchildren and 17 Great-Great Grandchildren. Three cousins Cherry Ann Moore, San Antonio, TX. Rayford Moore, San Antonio , TX. Tracy Moore, San Antonio, TX. 3 Sister -in-Laws Azallia Griffin Sacramento CA, Betty Thurman Dickerson TX, LaMira Stewart Houston TX.
Services will be held at Thompson Funeral on November 30, 2023. A Memorial Slideshow will begin at 10:00am and the Memorial Service at 11:00am.
