Jimmy “J”. Cluff, 71, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away May 29, 2015 in Phoenix, Arizona.

He was born September 26, 1943 in Mesa, Arizona to Julian and Theilia (Lofgreen) Cluff.

Mr. Cluff served in the United States Marine Corp from June 1964 – June 1967.

Mr. Cluff was a Bishop for The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints, 12th Ward.  He served with The Boy Scouts of America.  Mr. Cluff finished his career retiring from Napa Auto Parts.

Mr. Cluff is survived by his wife Carol Jean (Damron) Cluff, daughters Valerie Santos, Holly Tanner, Deanna McCurdy, sons Benny Cluff, Ronald Cluff, Victor Cluff, David Cluff, and Jimmy Cluff, sisters Paula Hall and Beth King, brothers Lyle Jones and Ray Jones, 20 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation service 9-10 a.m., followed by funeral service 10 a.m., Saturday, June 6, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints, 650 W. Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85041. Burial service at East Resthaven Park Cemetery, 4310 E Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85042. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Thompson Funeral Chapel.
