Gerald Allen Krueger

Gerald Allen Krueger, age 87, of Buckeye, AZ passed away April 28, 2020 in Buckeye, AZ. He was born July 28, 1932 in Auburn Heights, MI to Frank and Doris Krueger.

Gerald served in the United States Army as a Sergeant during the Korean War, from 1952 to 1954. He was a member of Harvest Baptist Church in Goodyear, AZ. Gerald was married to his wife for 69 years, loved music, dancing, and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed building and remodeling homes.

Gerald is survived by his wife Myrtle “Margaret” Krueger; daughters Vickie (Harold) Tanner, Terry (Randy) Cooper, Sherry (Jorge) Ray, Tracey (Dale) Gordon, Jill (Leif) Myers; sons Gerald “Chip” (Valerie) Krueger, Darryl Krueger; twenty grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Michael Wayne Krueger.

Carol Juanita Triplett

Carol Juanita Moore Triplett, age 61 years, was born to Lawrence and Juanita Moore on April, 22, 1959 in Memphis, TN. The family moved to Omaha, NE when Carol was a toddler and this is where her journey began. Carol was a student in the Omaha Public Schools graduating from Burke High School in 1977. After graduation Carol attended the Med Center where she graduated Nursing School and became a pediatric nurse at Boystown Hosptial where she remained until she moved to Goodyear, AZ in 2000. Carol met and married Larry Triplett, August 27, 1985 with that union a daughter was born Nataya Cassie Triplett one of her greatest accomplishments.
Carol had several titles while employed in AZ her employment till her death was with Sovereign Surgical Centers as the Director of Quality and Compliance Infection Preventionist.

Carol, was a faithful solider for the Lord and was proud to be called a Christian she always saw the good in people. Carol, always opened her home to family and friends we had such a great time and if we were lucky she would make lasagna or stuffed green peppers.

On Wednesday, April 22, 2020, the angels came and escorted Carol home to the Lord and we must now say goodbye until we meet again.

Carol, was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Moore.
To cherish her memories, Carol leaves behind her husband Larry and her daughter Nataya, her Mother Juanita Sisters: Jacqueline (Elton) Foster, Debra (Eddie) Edwards, Debbie (Al) Allen, Brother Troy Moore and special friend Barb Quaife along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunt, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Carol, you were loved and you truly will be missed.

John Preston Wedgeworth

John Preston Wedgeworth, age 78, of Buckeye, AZ passed away on April 16, 2020 in Buckeye, AZ. He was born October 12, 1941 in Buckeye, AZ to Norman Wedgeworth and Delphia Brooks. John proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1960-66 and was Honorably Discharged as an ICFM (E-3). He was proud to be an American.

John was a best friend to his wife Gail of 46 years; he was the greatest Dad a kid could have and a very loving Grandpa. A stranger to none, John had a big heart and loved to share stories and life wisdom. He had many hobbies but one of his favorites was spending time appreciating the desert and mountains of Arizona. He loved his family and his friends.

John is survived by his wife Gail Wedgeworth; daughters Pamela Mallinckrodt, Rhonda Peyton, Angela Brown, Paige Wilburn, Cindy Stout; son Brian Wedgeworth; sister Debbie Isler; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Delphia Wedgeworth.

Richard James Rogers

On Thursday, April 23rd 2020, Richard J. Rogers, father of two, passed away at his home in Buckeye, Arizona at the age of 67. Rick was born in Elgin, Illinois to James and Lois (Meyer) Rogers. He opened his business, Durango Small Car, with his brother Steven in Durango, Colorado in the 1980. Rick owned and operated this successful business for nearly four decades and made countless friends from among his clientele before retiring in 2014.

Rick was a selfless man with incredible integrity. He loved every person in his life. He surrounded himself the with passion and love of music beginning with the keyboard and eventually the guitar. He enjoyed blues music and his favorite artist was Joe Bonamassa. Rick loved to camp, hike, and backpack in the great outdoors. He loved automobiles and in his earlier years was involved in auto racing. Rick had a unique sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. Rick’s close friends and family were very sacred to him.

He is survived by his beloved daughter Amy Rogers and son David Rogers, brother Steven, and six grandchildren; Tony Chavez, Cassandra Chavez, Miranda Chavez, Warren Chavez, Elaina Chavez, and Mia Chavez. He also has two beloved great granddaughters, Esmerelda and Isabelle Chavez. Dear friends in Rick’s life are Teresa Cook, Rod Hallstrom, Patricia Heller and her children, and many other others.

Rick’s final wishes where to be cremated and have his ashes spread in Colorado.

Gregory Phillip Johnson

Gregory Phillip Johnson, age 73, of Goodyear, AZ passed away on April 21, 2020. He was born August 4, 1946 in Rockford, IL to Harold and Bonnie Johnson. The world lost an amazing man and we gather to celebrate his life. This loss will take a toll on all his family but mostly his partner in life and wife of 50 years, Cathy Johnson. They have never spent a day apart. The love they had will last an eternity. Greg enjoyed many things in life including racing, Nascar, football games especially games in the snow. His passion in life included coffee and Italian food. He was a skilled wood worker and made many beautiful pieces of furniture. Not only was he a family man but also a successful businessman. But everyone will remember him mostly for his sense of humor.
Gregory is survived by his wife Cathly Johnson; daughter Brandy Rodriguez; brother Woody Johnson; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Ronald Dee Adkins

Ronald Dee Adkins, age 85, of Litchfield Park, AZ passed away on April 20, 2020 in Litchfield Park, AZ. He was born July 7, 1934 in Marion, Indiana to Everett and Vera Adkins. Services are private.

Timothy Kiernan

On Friday, April 17, 2020 Timothy Kiernan lost his battle with cancer and passed away surrounded by his family, at the age of 31. Tim was born on June 21st, 1988 to Ray and Vivian Robin Kiernan. He graduated from Moon Valley High School in 2006 and served the people of Arizona for 10 years at the State of Arizona Department of Economic Security.

Tim loved video games and watching movies, but his biggest passion was spending time with his family and friends. Tim grew up in a large family of 8 children and numerous cousins. Often you would find Tim out playing Pokémon with his cousins or watching Harry Potter with his family. He was an accomplished barrel racer and soccer player, and avid competitor in 5k runs. He generously supported many worthy causes such as walks of cancer. He had a few different jobs in his short life but really enjoyed his time as a bartender. His favorite part was being creative with mixing drinks, taste testing a Scooby Snack or two and entertaining the people he served. He took great joy in planning events. From vacations and trips to the Renaissance Festival to even just a quiet dinner out, he just wanted to be having fun with his family and friends.

Tim is survived by his parents Raymond and Robin Kiernan, His siblings Karen Leonhart, Michael Lilly, Alan Kiernan, Katie Kiernan, Robbie Kiernan, Trisha Kiernan, Vivian Kiernan and their spouses and children. Funeral services will be 10:00am Friday, April 24th 2020 at Hazelton Memorial Cemetery 23100 W Broadway Rd Buckeye, Arizona.

The family would like to extend a special Thank you to Tim’s aunt, Carla Devoy for taking care of him through his battle. Her efforts and unwavering support for Tim and the whole family is greatly appreciated.

Edward James Pettis Sr.

Edward James Pettis Sr., age 81, of Goodyear, AZ passed away on April 14, 2020 in Goodyear, AZ. He was born July 25, 1938 in Waukegan, IL to Porter and Rosetta Pettis. Services are private.

Donna Mae Yepsen Duncan

Donna Mae Yepsen Duncan, 86, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020, in Goodyear, Arizona.

Donna was born in Kanawa, Iowa and grew up in Jefferson, Iowa. Donna married William L. Duncan and they became parents of Ronna, Jeffrey, and Todd.

Donna and Bill raised their family in Falls Church, Virginia and Golden, Colorado, and retired in Goodyear, Arizona.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Verola Yepsen, brother Arlon Yepsen and his wife Marjorie, brother Jack Yepsen, sister Nadine Yepsen Lynch and her husband Jay Lynch, sister Joann Yepsen Corcoran and her husband Harry “Bud” Corcoran, and nephew Daniel Corcoran.

Donna is survived by her husband Bill Duncan, her children Ronna Duncan and her husband Charles, Jeffrey Duncan and his wife Cathy, and Todd Duncan; seven grandchildren (Ryan, Gianna, Paige, Julianna, Alexandria, Kylee and Wyatt) and one great-grandchild (Jacob); twin brother Donald Yepsen and his wife Alice, sister-in-law Lea Yepsen, many beloved nieces and nephews and many friends.

Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

A service celebrating Donna’s life will take place in Jefferson, Iowa on a date yet to be determined.

Calvin Vaudrey

Calvin Vaudrey, age 95, of Litchfield Park, AZ passed away on April 16, 2020 in Goodyear, AZ. He was born April 27, 1924 in Glendo, Wyoming to James and Matilda Vaudrey. Services are private.

John Bernard Pluth

John Bernard Pluth, age 76, of Buckeye, AZ passed away on April 14, 2020 in Buckeye, AZ. He was born August 17, 1943 in Moorhead, MN to Joseph and Ethel Pluth. Services are private.

Edwin Charles Brousseau

Edwin Charles Brousseau, 77, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020, at his home in Laveen, AZ. He was born in Willimantic, CT, on January 17, 1943, to the late Ernest and Marie (Bellerive) Brousseau. He was predeceased in death by his wife, Georgia Cole Brousseau, a brother, Ernest Brousseau, and sisters Adel Asselin, Rosemarie Chamberland, Claire Veilleux, and Sally Constant. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Steven Brousseau in Mississippi, Nicole Deane in Virginia, Stacey Kuhar in Virginia, his step-son, Russell Cole, and his daughter-in-law, Tracy Cole, in Arizona, and his siblings Philip Brousseau in Florida, Cecile Vordermark in Florida, and Suzanne Butterfield in Colorado as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Edwin joined the Air Force shortly after graduating from high school and spent his life in service to our country, his community, his neighborhood association, as well as the local school system as a school crossing guard post-retirement. He loved to travel and often made trips across the country to visit relatives and friends.

Edwin will be laid to rest with his wife, Georgia, at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Marana with a military ceremony when the current restrictions are lifted. Thompson Funeral Chapel will be helping to coordinate his service. Online condolences may be expressed to the family below.

Arthur “Art” Moreno Pariga, age 76, of Litchfield Park, AZ passed away on April 6, 2020 in Phoenix, AZ. He was born on September 10, 1943 in Phoenix, AZ to Arturo P. and Vicenta Moreno Pariga.

Joel Anthony Price

Joel Anthony Price, age 57, of Avondale, AZ passed away on April 13, 2020 in Phoenix, AZ. He was born June 21, 1962 in Phoenix, AZ to Leston and Mary Price. Joel was the pastor at Eagles Wings Church in Phoenix, a missionary and an Evangelist. He was a long-time employee of Charles Schwab. He is survived by his daughter Autumn Price; father Leston Price; sister Regina Price and one grandchild, Hunter Anthony Chandarlis. Joel was preceded in death by his wife Brenda Price; mother Mary Price and brother Daniel Price. Services are to be determined.

Betty Gwynn Hogan Grady Henline

In the wee hours of March 28, 2020, Gwynn went home to be with the Lord. I am sure that she was greeted at the Gates of Heaven by the love of her life, and her dance partner, her husband Scott. She was born on January 31, 1929 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Ray and Lois Hogan. Gwynn is survived by her loving brother, Mike Hogan, her daughter Victoria Gwynn Walker-Stephenson (Larry), granddaughters Ericka Gwynn Strahan (Jason), Kristin Noel Peelman (Armando), Jacqueline Renee Record (Kable), Candice Leigh Puckett (Alex), her son David Clayton Grady (Tracy), stepdaughters Starlene Montoya (Johnny), Jewelene Pattullo (Kevin),stepsons, W. Scott Henline , Robert W. Henline, Jim Cochrane, 8 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Carmine Lodico

Carmine Lodico, age 72, of Goodyear, AZ passed away peacefully on April 12, 2020.  He was born August 9, 1947 in New York, New York to Richard and Filomena Lodico and the youngest of two brothers and two sisters.  He served in the US Army from November 15, 1966 to November 14, 1972 as a SP4(T)E-4.  He was married to his wife Karen for 16 wonderful years.  Carmine loved to travel, make his own sausage, play bocce, golf, walk his little dog Scruffy, or just be at home with Karen.  Carmine is survived by his wife Karen Lodico; sister Phyllis Woodruff and brother Tony Lodico. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, June 1, 2020 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 13720 W. Karen Elizabeth Hannon

Karen Elizabeth Hannon, 62, Peoria Arizona formerly of Baldwinsville New York passed away April 7, 2020. Karen was born in Syracuse and graduated from C.W. Baker High School in 1975. She graduated from Arizona State University in 1981 and later earned her Masters of Education from Northern Arizona University and went on to teach for over 35 years. Many of her years teaching were spent in Special Education before discovering a love of Science later in her career. She loved to cook and care for people. She was a published author, creating a book that helped teach essential life skills to youth.

She is survived by Sisters Patty Hannon of Avondale AZ and Maureen Hannon of Surprise AZ and brothers Tom (Patti) Hannon of Clearwater FL and Kevin (Regina) Hannon of Surprise AZ, Nieces and nephews, Danielle (Chad) Lutkenhaus and Shawn Hannon of Florida and Jordan Hannon of Surprise Arizona as well as many beloved Aunts, Cousins and Friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 9:00 am at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd, Goodyear, AZ 85338.

Tammara Orbach

Tammara Orbach, 60, of Buckeye, AZ passed away on April 2, 2020 in Goodyear, AZ. She was born May 17, 1959 in the San Fernando Valley, CA to Harold Orbach and Bernice Zappia.

Tammara touched many lives thru her decades of work in the social services industry from working with troubled teens to helping people with developmental disabilities. She left a mark with those she worked with and for.

Tammara is survived by her daughter Tina Henry (Jason Henry); son Edward Gaffney (Heidi Haines); mother Bernice Zappia (Anthony Zappia); and five grandchildren, Tyler Henry, Sierra Henry, Jason “JJ” Henry, Martin Haines and Zaldin Gaffney. She was preceded in death by her father Harold Orbach.

Private family services will be held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Ruby Mae Warren

Ruby Mae Warren, age 86, of Litchfield Park, AZ died April 1, 2020 in Litchfield Park, AZ. She was born July 17, 1933 in Winslow, AZ to Henry and Ada Haught. Ruby is survived by her daughters Cindy Ausmus, Patricia Funk, Verdine Miller; and sons James and Daniel Warren. Services are private.

Joan Y. LeRoy

Joan Y. LeRoy, 79, of Buckeye, AZ died April 1, 2020 in Buckeye, AZ.  She was born August 15, 1940 in Phoenix, Arizona to Claude and Irene Wingfield.  Joan loved to cook, play bingo and spending time with her family and friends especially her grandkids.

Joan is survived by her daughter Kelly Byassee (Joe), sons Ken LeRoy (Cynthia) and Keith LeRoy (Tracey); brothers Claude, Gary and Pat Wingfield; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Ken C. LeRoy, parents Claude and Irene Wingfield, sister Phillis Brown, brothers Phillip, Jack, Jerry and her twin brother John Wingfield.

Amanda Keller

Amanda Keller, age 82, of Goodyear, AZ passed away on March 31, 2020 in Goodyear, AZ.  She was born on July 13, 1938 in Cochabamba, Bolivia to Hugo Rios and Elsa Canedo.

Amanda is survived by her husband, Vincent Randall Keller; sons Michael and Mark Keller; brothers Juan and Fernando Rios; and six grandchildren.

Bonnie Helen Bruckelmyer,

Bonnie Helen Bruckelmyer, age 70 of Goodyear, AZ died March 30, 2020 in Goodyear, AZ.  She was born on January 4, 1950 in Minneapolis, MN and resided in Golden Valley, MN with her parents, Glen and Elizabeth Balfanz.   She graduated from Golden Valley High School in 1968.  She married her husband, David Bruckelmyer, in 1978.  She worked as a travel agent, a job she loved, for 18 years.  She enjoyed traveling throughout the US and all over the world with David by her side.  The couple moved to Goodyear, AZ in 2000 where she worked at the Wigwam Golf Resort as a Guest Concierge for ten years.  She loved meeting and assisting the guests at the resort as well as playing golf with David.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, David R. Bruckelmyer of Goodyear, AZ; sisters Janice Frys of Plymouth, MN, Irene Kangas of Columbia Heights, MN, Angela Balfanz of Brooklyn Park, MN; and many other loving family members.  She will be remembered for her vibrant personality and will be missed by all who knew her.

No local services are planned.  Burial will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN where she will share a grave site with her loving companion and husband, David.  Condolences for the family may be left below.

James Thomas King

James Thomas King, age 90 of Goodyear, AZ died March 29, 2020 in Goodyear, AZ.  He was born October 26, 1929 in Pinson, TN to Jesse and Kathryn David King.  James met the love of his life, Joyce in Tennessee.  They moved to Arizona in 1956 where he started his own business, James T. King Fertilizer, in 1960.  Through hard work and business acumen, he produced a highly successful business from which he retired in 2010.  James like outdoor activities with his family.  He enjoyed horseback riding, fishing and camping.  He was an avid card player and loved to play Texas Hold’em.

James is survived by his daughter, Charlotte Potter and Carolyn “Cookie” Reynolds; sons, Rick King (Bonnie), Donny King (Karri), and Mark King (Rhonda); 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Marie King; parents, Jesse and Kathryn King; sisters, Mildred Ware, Janet Pierce, Inell Dean; brother, Johnny King; grandson, Garrett Bardwell; and great-grandson, Ty Folsom.

A private service will be held.  Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.  The family suggests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, https://www.cancer.org/involved/donate/memorial-giving.html.  Condolences for the family may be left below.
